The Levy Company

Located in San Antonio, Texas, the Levy Company is an electrical construction and heavy highway establishment organization. The company is associated with successful projects in a span of more than eighteen years, which its experienced leaders and working force bring about. In the United States, the firm has proved to be among the best electrical construction companies because of the high level of skills and knowledge applied in its projects. Levy Company dedicates itself to completing projects safely, including electrical and roadway projects of any kind and size (The Levy Company, 2021). However, conducting the SWOT analysis as an environmental scan displays that the Levy Company associates its success in projects with the business environment's strengths. These strengths play a crucial role in the organization's overall success, making them an important aspect. In this sense, this paper explores the Levy Company's strengths that are vital in its success.

Strengths

Successful Employment Branding Strategy

The ever-changing global economy presents companies with various challenges, particularly problems such as industry competition. For this reason, organizational leaders are usually expected to come up with ways of retaining top talent to ensure they remain competitive in an industry. Employer branding is the most desirable strategy to improve work, increase growth and affinity, and brand visibility. Companies with significant branding strategies are ahead of others because they attract the best. Similarly, the Levy Company enjoys essential dominance in the electrical and highway construction aspect because it employs a successful employment branding strategy that enhances growth and working force attraction. In this sense, a successful employment branding strategy is one strength associated with the Levy Company.

Competitive Compensational Philosophy

Another strength linked to the Levy Company involves the adherence to a competitive compensational philosophy. A compensation philosophy entails the reasons that influence employee payment in an organization. The philosophy identifies the reward methods and pays programs for employees, along with the created consistency framework (Austin, 2018). The Levy Company utilizes a competitive compensational framework, which helps in ensuring employee retention. Additionally, the philosophy is beneficial because it displays the dedication and commitment of the Levy Company to its employees. Hence, it is a foundational strength for the firm.

Working personnel turnover is a crucial peril to the productivity of companies in any industry. For this reason, companies have resorted to adapting significant strategies to manage employee turnover effectively (Bearstaffing, 2018). The Levy Company ensures effective turnover management by focusing on several strategies. For example, the company explores hiring the correct working force, who performs their tasks effectively, minimizing turnover. Secondly, the Levy Company always quantifies employee turnover cost, enabling the firm to track its working force levels.

High Safety Standards

Today, organizations are expected to display high levels of safety in their internal and external operations. The Levy Company has designed several standards meant to protect its processes, products, and employees during internal and external operations. For example, the company ascertains that employees wear safety clothing when dealing with products that may be harmful to the human body.
