The Hong Kong Government wants to promote COVID-19 vaccination in Hong Kong, in order to give citizens good protection from coronavirus. The head of the HK Government, Carrie Lam, said vaccination is an important part of the government’s plan to fight against the pandemic. She promised that the Government will ensure that vaccines satisfy the criteria of safety, efficacy and quality, and obtain emergency use approval in accordance with the relevant requirements as well as stringent approval procedures under the Regulation, before arranging for members of the public to receive the vaccines. However, many people in Hong Kong worry about the side-effect (副作用) of vaccination, which potentially will cause the recipients chest pain and allergic reactions.
Carrie is now asking for your opinion to promote COVID-19 vaccination in Hong Kong and encourage Hong Kong citizens to receive the injection. By using the concepts and ideologies you have learnt in our lesson, please provide THREE suggestions for the Hong Kong Government with explanation. (1 mark for the choose of concept, 2 marks for explanation)
Based on your answers in 1a), please suggest 3 arguments to be used as the headline for a print advertisement on newspaper to promote COVID-19 vaccination in Hong Kong. State clearly what your prime(s) and conclusion is/are. (2 marks for each argument)

Greta Thunberg is a Swedish environmental activist who is well-known for challenging world leaders to take immediate action against climate change. Thunberg believes that humanity is facing an existential crisis because of global warming and holds the current generation of adults responsible for creating the problem. She often uses analogies (such as “our house is on fire”) to highlight her concerns and often speaks bluntly to business and political leaders about their failure to take concerted action. Greta also encourages other students to fight against climate change. Thunberg initially gained notice for her youth and her straightforward speaking manner, both in public and to political leaders and assemblies, in which she criticises world leaders for their failure to take what she considers sufficient action to address the climate crisis. In 2019, she went to the UN Climate Action Summit, and her speech in which she exclaimed “how dare you”, was widely taken up by the press.
