Pick a film from this week's offering, and screen it! Then, craft a discussion / analysis / argument in terms of one of Corrigan's "six approaches to writing about film" discussed in Chapter 4. Make sure you properly cite sources as needed--and have fun with it!

  • The Campus Queen (2004) - breakout early-ish Nollywood focused on campus life

  • Bamako (2006) - the non-Nollywood offering, written & directed by Abderrahmane Sissako

  • The Wedding Party (2016) - recent Nollywood blockbuster co-written & directed by Kemi Adetiba

Netflix has a slew of additional Nollywood films available... YouTube has its share as well!

Discussion board (20 points)
