The name of my business would be Pets’ Paradise, and I would invite as many animals to be my “guests” as possible. Because there are so many animals roaming around the city unattended, especially during the summer vacation months, I want to offer these ne glected pets shelter and special care. Many people may say that this type of business is unrealistic, but I know that there are many pet owners in Middle Georgia who love their “babies.” First, I would make sure that my business would be in a high -traffi c location that can be easily found; therefor e, I plan to rent the vacant Chili ’s restaurant location at 2235 Northside Drive in Macon, Georgia . Monthly rent for this facility is approximately $1,850 per month, and renovations to the facility for pet hous ing, outside runs, a common play area, grooming area, and office space are estimated at $15,000 ; start -up money for this project will be coming from an inheritance from my grandmother. I plan to hire three full -time and five part -time employees to help me take care of animals seven days a week. These employees must meet rigid background checks and express unremitting respect for animals. We would offer the following services: two meals a day, a thorough bath, grooming services, teeth checks, and benefici al exercise in the common play area. However, after read ing an article that focuses on computer upgrades in an Atlanta dog grooming salon, I now realize that Good 2 I need to invest in up -to-date s oftware to maintain records for all animals who visit my shop and free Wi -Fi for their visiting owners (Talbert 68).
