An online class compared to a traditional class.

Education is one of the most significant things in one's life. People worldwide are trying to achieve education (Cummings et al., 2019). People need help finding the type of school they would like to attend. While arguing about whether to attend college, most people need help finding out which education is better, traditional or online. This paper finds contrasts between an online and a traditional class.

There is the availability of time with online class. Most people prefer online class because with online class they have a lot of time to do many things. Online education gives one enough time when juggling responsibilities such as school, family, meetings, and work (Cummings et al., 2019). Online class enables one to maintain a flexible schedule to do everything one need to do. For instance, some people are employed and have a family at the same time. So these people would fit in online class well, so they have time to go to work, attend to their families, and choose to have their classes at night or when they are free.

Traditional class, on the other hand, is not flexible. With traditional class, one has to concentrate on doing one thing. When attending traditional class, one has to be in school physically and work on their responsibilities (Cummings et al., 2019). Traditional class with someone with a family who works simultaneously may be challenging. This person may need to be in class physically, work, and attend to their family. When one adds their school schedule and everything to their responsibilities’ list, they will have much work that would overwhelm them. It would force someone to apply time management, so they have to do their school on time and other responsibilities.

Traditional class encourages social interactions. Traditional class enables one to interact with their fellows in dorm rooms and smart boards. It also enables one to explore campus grounds. Some learners prefer meeting with their instructors and peers in person or enjoy learning better face-to-face. More social learners benefit from traditional class. For instance, if a student has a problem understanding any concept in class, they would find it easy to meet their instructor so that they are offered a face-to-face explanation. The students may also have a physical group discussion where they would discuss with their peers as they interact more (Cummings et al., 2019).

Online class, on the other side, may not give social interactions, mainly physical ones (Cummings et al., 2019). Those acquiring their education online may only utilize collaborative resources through video conferencing and blackboard to encourage regular brainstorming, discussions, and communication. The learners may prefer to avoid the face to face interactions with their peers. They may also need help finding their instructors more available for questions, especially when they interact with lecturers; lecturers may be engaged with other things and may reply to their requests may be late.

Traditional class offers ample time for learning. There are no distractions with the physical education (Cummings et al., 2019). People going through physical education always concentrate better because that is the activity they have to do. For example, a parent receiving physical education may not be distracted by many things, such as surprise visitors, calls, and kids.

Online class, on the other hand, has got many distractions. One getting their education online may be destructed by many things from home, making it difficult to concentrate. For example, a mother who is learning may get distracted by visitors, their children, and even distracting calls when they are online using their gadgets for learning purposes (Cummings et al., 2019).

In conclusion, both online and physical class promotes education and knowledge. The differences between online and physical class may be advantages and disadvantages, based on some people. One has to weigh out which one would be better with them so that they decide which one could be well with them.
