If you don't have much knowledge on the topics, where do you think you could get information? (Two paragraph minimum)

  4. After reviewing the materials in the Spark Grant Project Overview, ask at least one question you have about the project.

Spark Grants are designed for “grassroots organizers, go-getters, and connoisseurs of community” to implement projects that positively affect the community. Spark Grants, typically worth $1,500, are awarded to creative projects that “address community challenges” and “[b]ring diverse people together.” Previous Spark Grant recipients have ranged from the practical to the wide-ranging:

The end product for this project will be a proposal for your own Spark Grant community project that you could present to the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation. Your presentation’s purpose will be to persuade the foundation to back your project.
