Ecological Leadership: Climate Change
According to Clark et al. (2018), excessive greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels act as the primary cause of climate change which is a critical worldwide concern. Ecological habitats and human communities are facing threats from hotter temperatures, more severe storms, increased drought, loss of species, and more health risks. Continuous usage of nonrenewable energy remains an essential contributor to climate change effects. My leadership initiative would prioritize the creation of sustainable legislation, raise public awareness, and support renewable energy.
Industry and corporate entities should receive financial rewards from government programs for switching their power generation to renewable energy systems such as wind power and solar power so this problem can be solved. A plan of educational initiatives should be established to teach people about ecological practices alongside energy-saving techniques. I would sink money into green infrastructure and work with industry to create eco-friendly solutions that would help cut carbon emissions even further. By taking this urgent action, we can combat climate change and its impact and build a more sustainable future for coming generations.
