(e.g. Green S hores certification, baseline data for design of a NbS) • Purpose of the study – what are you trying to do or fin d out • What has been done in the past (if applicable) Geographical Setting • Where is the work taking place? Include a study area map • What are the environmental conditions of the area? (tidal range, dominant winds/waves , vegetation, etc..) • Site description (e.g. b each, liv ing shoreline , etc.. ) • Anything else that is pertinent to the site itself (e.g. provincial park, NbS) Methods • What did you do? • How did you do it? ( e.g. specific equipment used , lab analyses, etc..) • Provide a map (if applica ble with locations of your sample s or transects) Results • What did you find? This should include relevant figures, tables, graphs and photos • Describe your results ( e.g. highest, lowest, tr ends , results of cr edit assessment ) • Potential sources of error and limitations of your work Discussion and Conclusions • Summarize and circle back to the question you set out to address • What are th e implications of your findings and considerations for being able to implement the work • Provide recommendations for future directions Page 2 of 2 Additional Guidance • All figures and table should have proper captions and be refer red to within the body of the text as well. • Vertical exaggeration should be provided for all topographic profiles and all GIS maps should include le gends and cartographic elements. • Study area m ap can be done using G oo gle earth but include proper citation and also cartographic elements like a north arrow and scale bar. • Please have a cover page • References should follow a consistent format • Professionalism is important and make sure to proofread
