  1. Determine whether training is appropriate for the individual.

  1. Gather input from key stakeholders 

  1. Who are the stakeholders? 

  1. Why is stakeholder buy-in important? 

  1. Discuss how you would achieve buy-in from stakeholders. 

  1. Discuss how you would deal with resistance and concerns. 

  1. Analyze Training Needs 

  1. Based on the data collected and input from stakeholders, analyze the organization’s training needs. 

  1. Identify employee skills and knowledge gaps. 

  1. Identify performance deficiencies. 

  1. Recommend at least 3 long-term strategic goals and workforce development needs.
