Name

Institution

The organization is going to be an entity that will base its operation on customer obsession rather than competitor focus, commitment to operational excellence and long-term thinking. The consumers will be served with advertising services and co-branded credit card agreement. The customers will also be served with retail websites and focus will always be on price, selection, and convenience. The company will engage in the manufacture and sale of electronics like e-readers, fire phones, and Fire tablets. Books, movies, and toys also form part of its products. Due to the range of products that the company will be producing, the firm expects customers from any demographics; from students to working class and both young and old. The prices for books will be affordable thereby enabling the students who are not working to afford them without feeling a pinch in their pockets. The mission of the company will be 'Delivering quality for all' Exceptional customer service will be the key objective and one of its key competence that will ensure continuous growth of the company. To achieve exceptional customer service, the company has devised policies that will be instrumental to this objective. This will ensure that sales volume of the company increases tremendously in the next few years. The company will make it possible for their customers to be getting their goods faster than ever. More importantly, the cost of shipping within the United States will be free (Kerzner, 2013). There will also be one year warranty within which customer are at liberty to replace their product if their needs are not satisfied. This is expected to attract customers in buying the products of the company thus increasing sales volume. The company will not be outsourcing or hire another party to perform some of its major operation. Therefore, all customer services that are important for the success will be done by a well dedicated and competent team of employees within the business, and this will make them connect with their customers psychologically. It will also provide the company with the opportunity to get direct feedback from the customers thereby satisfying their needs.

The organization will go a notch higher in its strategy by cultivating a culture for all the employees in an effort to achieve its business objectives. In this case, employees of the company will be required to embrace some core values. Additionally, those who are exceptionally good will always be rewarded as a way of motivating them. Motivation has been identified by many scholars as one of the effective ways that can boost the performance of the employees. It should be noted that employees will be required to cultivate the art of relating well with the customers and other vendors. This will be done to make the customer feel special.

To ensure that its business strategy works, the company will adopt an organizational system that is efficient. The company can also develop the bottom up feedback and transparency culture. Moreover, decision making will be easier due to centralized management system that will be in adopted. As a result, there will be no confusion which normally results from decentralized management system. Additionally, there will be effective coordination in running the operations of the business. The flat structural hierarchical organization seems to be effective for the business. This can be attributed to the fact that employees will be required to report directly to the managers who control a wide span. Managers will also deal directly with the employees thereby promoting efficiency in service delivery. Therefore, this system of organization can increase effectiveness on the part of the manager (Anderson, 2004). The flat structure hierarchical that will be adopted by the company exhibits a low degree of specialization and formalization. It is also known as an organic structure. In this type of organizational structure, the flow of information is not restricted as there is both horizontal and vertical flow of information (Ghauri, & Gronhaug, 2010). In the end, it increases motivation, satisfaction, and creativity on the part of the employees of the business. As mentioned earlier, there is will also be a faster decision making on the part of management. Lastly, this organization structure will encourage innovation on the part of the employees.

Competition is inevitable in today’s business world. To have a competitive advantage, it is important for a business organization to come up with ways to which it can have a competitive advantage. The company has devised ways through it will get a competitive advantage. Information about the trends and preferences of consumers is the most important data that can be used by the business. For instance, a company that sales tablets and games online like this organization uses this data to understand the new trend in technology that consumers are using. This will be beneficial as it will help them have an overview of the current market demand. It should be noted that the consumers’ pattern is very significant in this process as it will ensure that the new product being developed will satisfy their needs. More importantly, gathering information about the strengths and weaknesses of their competitors is very crucial at this stage as it helps the organization to determine the areas which can be improved and concentrated on so as to get a competitive advantage. The data services firm must also use their intelligence in the best way as their market is one of the most dynamic (Ghauri, &Gronhaug, 2010).

The company also can introduce a new product in the market. However, there will be need to carry out the preliminary study of the market. This will include finding out if there is already another product in the market that can compete with the product that is about to be created. It is a very imperative process as it entails understanding the competitors. The product will be marketed to the potential clients with whom their patterns have been identified. In this case, marketing of the real product cannot be done before the preliminary study has been successful conducted (Anderson, 2004). It should be noted that preliminary stage is the most important part as it determines whether the product will be produced and released to the market. In many occasions, it gives the manufacture an overview of what to expect in the market. More importantly, the sales depend entirely on continuous advertising and marketing which determines the success of the product. It ensures the product reaches to new people and expands its market capitalization through the exploitation of the loopholes left by the competitor. The business must be able to invest resources so as to have a steady market which automatically translates into high sales volume (Ghauri, & Gronhaug, 2010)

From the discussion, one thing that is clear is that the organization will focus its resources towards ensuring exceptional service to the customer. The organization has formulated strategy that will ensure success. The company will also have a competitive advantage that will enable it to compete favorably in the market. The shipment cost will be free within the United States, and consumers can be able to get their products in time.
