Statement of purpose

The advancement of humanity requires constant effort to know the unknown. If given the opportunity to obtain PHD in Physics at ---- University, I will use the knowledge that I gain to benefit mankind. I developed an aptitude for physics during my years at high school. Pursuing that interest, I studied physics for my bachelors program at ---- University in ---, (Country of bacholer degree). As I had a natural passion for studying physics, I enjoyed my undergraduate studies.

Based on the knowledge gained in physics from my undergraduate studies, I feel confident enough to pursue higher education in physics. Recognizing my interest and firm foundation in the subject, I was appointed research assistant to Professor Dr. Slah Alden. The professor selected me because of my exemplary performance in academics and the desire to be a researcher. His supervision and guidance helped me refine my knowledge of the subject and removed many of my misconceptions. This particular work was of great help in writing my research thesis on “Radiation Protection."

I am applying to the graduate program in Physics at ---- University to seek even deeper skills and knowledge so that when I return to my work as a University Professor in (My country), I can improve the quality of the Physics and Science programs at the University of (my country). I have a further ambition to pursue doctoral studies in physics with a focus on the medical and biological branch. I hope that mine and my students' research will contribute to important advancements in medical technology that will cure diseases and save lives. I am aware that physics has an incredibly broad scope of theoretical aspects to study. I am also aware that these principles have important practical applications that can make a difference in the world. I would like to use my education at  Hampton University to move into a research position at my (my univeristy  University) so I may help other students and the knowledge that I acquire at Ut Health science University will not end with me.

In regard to my academic achievements, I am indeed a worthy student. My academic credentials are endorsed by my acceptance into the (my  bachloer University)  Scholarship for Higher Studies, a fully funded scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education in (My country). I would be greatly honored if my application for higher education at  UT health science University is accepted.
