This article explains that structural-functional approach is one of the elements that gives a team or an organization the aspect of flexibility and durability of the organization’s structure. The structural and functional approach works better in the management of financial and human resources in the organization. The article describes the model as the basic element for maintenance and continuity. Thus, it responds to all kind of situations and events. The article is relevant and significant to the study since it brings about the strategies that can deal with employee relation and how to manage financial resources in the company. The managerial process often needs to be flexible and durable to promote and sustain the activities of an organization.

The article points out that operational and supportive processes deliver performance when it comes to managerial process. Thus, it is the only process that sustains performance over a long period. The article further elaborates that, for the management to be effective, the managers have to show a wider awareness of the general managerial system. Thus, exploit their managerial activities for multiple purposes; achieve a balanced short-term and long-term-oriented operations; depict a greater maturity of managerial activities and further pay closer attention to managerial and organization systems.

This article plainly states that businesses can be established and sustained by having the right professions in the organization, the right amount of required resources, adequate space for organizational activities, a distinctive division of labor, and required the legal formality of the business. I found this article very useful since it elaborates the key aspects of any business that can be started by any professional. The fact that the basic items are mentioned helps in acknowledging the business process that can be involved in the management functions.

This article elaborates that the managerial process must actively perform basic managerial functions. Thus the management must involve planning of activities such as movement of materials in the supply chain, organizing of activities in the human resource department, coordination of departments at the top management level, and controlling for every activity in the organization. I found the article very useful for this study since it gives the basic managerial functions should be implemented during and at the end of the managerial process.

Trkman, P. (2010). The critical success factors of business process management. International Journal of Information Management, 30(2), 125-134.

The article shows the basic steps that should be involved in any organization that is still at its tender stage. It emphasizes that resources and financial assets are the most significant basic things that should be put in place. Some of the resources that are identified as basics in the article include premises, equipment, furniture, and machinery. Besides, it states that employees are essential since they are the main force behind every organizational activity. And lastly, credentials from a recognized body is essential for the operation of business. I found the article very relevant to the study as it gives the main steps that are supposed to be followed to carry out a legal activity that complies with regulatory bodies.
