can you help me write my paper

CU Online Art 131 Research Paper Checklist

1. Make sure to submit your research paper before midnight of the indicated due date.

2. Your research paper is worth 32% of your final grade.

3. This paper requires a minimum of 6 total pages:

-title page (page 1) your name will be on this page

  • body of your paper (pages 2, 3, 4, 5)

  • 4 full pages double-spaced text 12 point Times New Roman font

  • If you include images (other than on page 1/title page) in your paper, insert them at the end of the body of your paper. Do not insert images within the body of your paper.

-Works Cited page (page 6)

4. All research papers should be grammatically correct and free of spelling errors.

  • There is a one point deduction per typographical, spelling, or grammatical error.

  • Proofread carefully before you submit your paper!

  • Also check your Turnitin.com feedback for highlighted errors. Correct these errors before you submit your paper for grading.

5. Understand that you must write this paper in your own words. If you must quote the author to make a point, then use quotation marks to indicate any words that are not your own.

6. This final point is essential to your research paper grade.  If you are missing one of the required sources which meet the criteria of author and publication date, you will receive a 10 point deduction; if you are missing two sources with an author and publication date you will receive a 20 point deduction.  Remember, Encyclopedias and articles without authors and/or publication dates do not count toward your required 3 sources. You must have at a minimum of 3 sources, each with an author and a publication date Make sure to include these sources with their authors and publication dates on your Works Cited page, using the MLA format.

I have also provided these research paper requirements in our syllabus and on our announcements. Please click on the link provided in our Week 4 folder to confirm that you have reviewed and understand this summary checklist of requirements.

7. Our Turnitin.com rubric is on our Course Information page, our Weekly Content page, and in our Week 3 and 4 folders. This rubric will give you a clear understanding of acceptable Turnitin.com originality/similarity percentages. The maximum allowable originality/similarity percentage from Turnitin.com for this assignment is 15%. Exceeding a 15% Turnitin.com similarity percentage will result in points deducted from your paper.

8. I strongly suggest that you submit your paper to Turnitin.com as early as possible for several reasons: Turnitin.com will identify errors for you before you submit your paper to me for grading. Plus, if you submit your paper early, you have time to resubmit if you need to rework your paper to lower your originality/similarity percentage (it can take 48 hours to receive feedback from a resubmitted paper). *I recommend that you do not submit your works cited page to Turnitin.com. In some instances, it could increase your originality/similarity percentage.

9. You will submit your research paper twice in our Week 5 folder. Using the indicated links, you will submit it to Turnitin.com first, then you will submit your paper for grading.

10. I have provided two examples of successful research papers from former students. If you are like me, it’s sometimes easier to understand assignment requirements if you can see a successful completed example of that assignment.

I hope this checklist helps make this a little easier- remember, if you have questions, ask me! That’s why I’m here 
