Pablo Picasso

There are so many artists in the past who have made a fundamental impact in the field of art and design. Many of the artists have been involved in one way or the other in creating some of the best painting and designed numerous items and who we celebrate until today (Swami, 2013). In this case, we will look at the designs and arts of Pablo Picasso because he is one of the most important individuals in the 20th century’s art. Pablo was born in Spain and before the age of 50 years, he had already become one of the most important artists of his time. What makes Picasso and important figure is because earlier that his time there was no other artist who had made a significant impact on the world like he did (Swami, 2013). His work until today is still admired by many in the current century making Picasso one of the most influential artists.

Furthermore, Pablo Picasso will be remembered for co-founding the movement that is known as Cubist with Georges Braque. Cubist is famous for changing the literature, music, and architecture in Europe. Picasso is also recognized with creating construct sculpture as well as co-inventing the hodgepodge art style (Fukunaga, Ikari & Iwai, 2016). The ability to change the style of art and bringing a more attractive and inspiring design it the beauty of Picasso’s work. The quotes that Picasso used to describe the work of art and designs are also recognized until today. Examples include, ‘Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth (Charney, 2014)" - Pablo Picasso and “Every act of creation is, first of all, an act of destruction (Charney, 2014)" - Pablo Picasso. The quote meant to explain what motivated the work of Picasso which is experiences he faced in life. Picasso had the ability to express his understanding of life from the things he encountered through art and design (Charney, 2014). The last work of Picasso before he died was made up of all the styles he had learned throughout his life.
