Nokia has effectively used teams to increase its global effectiveness and performance; it has done this by provision of low-cost phones that fit the needs of many buyers. The company’s skills in global supply chain management has enabled it to reach out to numerous buyers globally hence gaining a competitive advantage. The teams have greatly improved the business strategies due to the high innovation levels ad autonomy. This helps in lowering production costs and also to make high quality products. Teams have the sole responsibility of decision-making. Nokia’s culture and norms are derived upon good communication, mutual respect and high regard for the members. Annual meetings keep teams in track for the fulfillment of the mission and vision statements ensuring alignment of organizational and team goals together (Ferraro & Brody, 2015). 

Nokia also uses promotional strategies to motivate the team members who work so well for the organization. It has also made sure that the teams have to learn the efficient manufacturing techniques. This has made us to realize that Nokia organization has designed effective teams to help it achieve its goals which are very crucial for the success of the company. Effective work groups lead to achievement of goals due to the provision of effective outputs. Teams have to promptly report on any breakdown in machinery, suggest to ways of improvement of production process as well as helping customers and minimizing performance difficulties that might arise in the company. This has realized much success hence achieving process gains which is very important (Ferraro & Brody, 2015). Managers have to make sure those teams perform at their highest levels hence potential performance is of a very big advantage to Nokia Company to help realize its objectives and maximize on production and profits.
