People have been debating over abortion for years not only in the United States but in other parts of the world as well. Abortion is the deliberate ending of a pregnancy before the fetus is viable or capable of surviving outside a female’s body. Many women do not consider abortion as killing an unborn child not entirely developed. While other women believe that once the doctor says you are pregnant life has begun and to have an abortion is not only murder but cruel and unusual punishment to an unborn. Many women will say it is a choice of free speech. Then there are some who will argue that everybody has rights, and women are standing up for the unborn child that cannot speak for himself or herself. Even though abortion is legal through the United States Constitutional Fourteen Amendment in Roe Verse Wade, it is the woman’s choice if she chooses to continue with the pregnancy or terminate the pregnancy.

In the United States, many people seek other alternatives to ending the life of their unborn child. This leads to many women dying from infection due to improper medical practice. If the Supreme Courts would reverse Roe v Wade, then many women would result back to any means necessary to end the life of an unborn child. God never intended for us to take a life for a life, but we make these decisions every day in the medical field. We have to decide treatment for terminally ill patients or in the court room when we place life and death in twelve men and women’s hands to decide if we should give the death penalty. Is that not also playing God?

Many religions teach abortion is not of God, and if someone has an abortion, they do not have eternal life. Many Christians believe this is immoral in the sight of God, and God does not approve of this. Well if God made us free to make our decision and his love is unconditional; therefore, we should not pass judgment on no one nor condemn them for their decision.

In conclusion, abortions are one of the most debatable medical practice in our society. It has been over a decade ago since Roe vs. Wade, but the debate still remain how abortion is still killing innocent children. Pro-life will continue to argue that abortion is wrong and that they are voice for the unborn children. While pro-choice will continue to argue that it is a woman’s choice. The moral value on abortion will continue to be controversial with no one willing to find a neutral ground; some may believe that abortion is my choice as a woman and some may believe it is not a choice of God.
