Introduction

Presidential debate gives presidential aspirants a good opportunity to debate the key issues affecting American citizens. Presidential election debates addresses all issues that affects American citizens starting from social, economic, cultural and political. Just like all other presidential elections, 2020 presidential elections aspirant will be holding a debate to provide their plans and strategies of how they will be solving different problems that are being faced by the American citizens. While the debate will address different issues, I feel will that inequality and housing crisis will be two key economic and social issues to be debated at the 2020 Presidential elections in the United States. Over the years, the gap between the poor and the rich has been widening significantly. The inequality between the rich and poor is therefore, a key issue that ought to be debated in the 2020 presidential elections debate. As the American population continue grow, housing has become a major problem to the American citizens. This is because the number of housing is lower and expensive.

Thesis Statement

This study will be explaining why inequality and housing crisis are the key issues to be debated at 2020 presidential elections in the United States, and the direction to be taken in the country so as to solve these problems.
