The character tends to think about the consequences of the decision he will make concerning the path he will choose. He thinks of the number of opportunities that he might driven by the fear of missing out on opportunities that willbe available on the other side of life. The indecisiveness of the individual makes him rvorry too much about the decision he is about to take instead of him going ahead and embracing the decision he will make and appreciate the opportunities that he will encounter on the way. The character seems to puts much of his fbcus on the things that he will miss out on instead of being optimistic and think about the things he u,ill gain by choosing to walk in the path he has chosen, The personality of the individual that comes out in the poern is that he does not like following the crorvd as he / - a fuil"{a, tE2 settles on walking on the path that had not been followed by many people. He contemplates and concludes that actually, both paths are equivalent and that he will create time in future to try and come back and rvalk the other path. These are the consolations that he gives himself for him to be confident to rvalk the other path. In the third and the fourth stanza, the speaker shows sorrow and regret by choosing the path he chose, and he believes that his life could have been so much better if he u,ould have embraced the other path. As the poem comes to an end, despite the regrets that the persona in the poem had, he ends up being proud of himself for the decision he had made' He realizes that that decision had shaped him into the person he is and he is, therefore' grateful for the decision he made to have walked down that road and this is clear in the last stanza where it is quoted that him choosing the less travelled road made all the difference' This should be applicable in the lives of every individual as they should be proud of the decisions they make in life as in one way or another they learned something from that decision. In conclusion, the poem by Frost exemplifies the importance of the quote by Ralph of one choosing a path that has never been travelled before just like the persona in the poem' Life is al1 about taking risks and being courageous to walk into the unknown, and this is rvhat is exemplifred in the poem by Frost. Despite the challenges and the regrets that one may have along the way it is imperative that should be proud of the life decision they have made as that decision in one way or the other brings out a certain attribute in an individual.
