According to the slideshow on the gender equality and racial discrimination, it is evident that the American’s government should work objectively to ensure that all the members of the community are protected and treated equally for a better running.

Discrimination of people due to their race might bring out social conflicts between the members of the public. Discrimination and gender equality are the two main aspects which when not controlled and addressed may disintegrate a country hence bringing out separation and disunity amongst all the people.

The United States of America should ensure that all its citizens are treated fairly and equally without any discrimination since every member of the public is entitled to economic growth of the country.

Both male and female should be given equal opportunities in every field of their living to reduce discouragements and hatred which might come out.

People have been engaging themselves in unproductive activities which affect other people’s desires to perform and provide for themselves due to the non-conducive environment given to them as a result of discrimination. When people are mistreated unfairly due to their race they may become dormant since they live in fear therefore increasing the dependency ratio in the country whereby people will be relying on the government for basic needs provision.

When encouraged, discrimination might lead to the following disadvantages to the members of the public:

  • Poor decision making due to fear

  • Increased rates of unemployment

  • Poor public relation

  • Disunity

These disadvantages make those subjected to discrimination feel unwanted in the country and therefore many might decide to migrate to other countries.

Laws should be passed by the government to reduce discrimination and bring about gender equality amongst all members of the public for the purpose of developing the country. The passing of the laws will cost the government very little amounts of money.

When discrimination and gender inequality in discouraged, the country will perform positively in terms of development brought by the united people. The unity will again lead to high production rates in the country as people will together with the aim of developing and advancing their mother country. The unity in the United States will attract the attention of other countries who will visit the country for the sake of copying the way of doing things. The country will again attract investors who will create employment to many people hence improving the living standards of the people

Since many people are suffering from discrimination and gender imbalance in the United States, the government should work tirelessly to make discrimination a prohibition. This will provide humble environments for all the citizens regardless of their race. Discrimination should be made an illegal offence which should be highly punishable. After discrimination is illegalised by the government, people will live in harmony and hence towards meeting the success of the country. Many investors from all over the world will get attracted to the country to the policies which might bring a good development of their businesses.
