Class Assignment

Week 4 - Discussion 1

 Data-Driven Decision Making

Part of being an effective, ethical leader means being able to interpret data and use it to make informed decisions. Using data to support decision making often strengthens yours explanation of your decisions to the stakeholders involved.  Data can often serve as a tangible component of decision making, which can be viewed as a subjective topic. For this discussion, read the Sagebrush Corporation Data-driven decision making paper.

  4. An analysis of ways in which data can assist you in defending your decisions to the stakeholders at your school site or agency.

  5. A reflection of personal experiences and, using examples, a discussion of the ways that you have either used data to inform decisions or witnessed individuals using data to inform decisions.
