The “Surviving the Strom Foundation Women Center (STS’) is a partnership.

Company Structure

STS’s is a faith base foundation that gives receives funds from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to establish screening and diagnosis programs to increase early detection of breast and cervical cancer for the women.

STS”s are a group of women advocates trained to educate women on breast and cervical cancer awareness and access to screening, treatment and care to reduce the number of breasts and cervical cancer incidence. The trained women advocate will navigate them through the health care system for needed diagnostic follow-up and treatment and barriers to care.

Describe the business, product, or service

Surviving the Storm Foundation Women Center (STS) offers grants to newly diagnosed breast and cervical cancer patient’s of the underserved and the lower socioeconomic group. The objective is to focus on reducing morbidity and prevent mortality from breast and cervical cancer. The foundation will receive funding to provide educational awareness and access to screening, treatment and care that would reduce the number of breast and cervical cancer incidences to individual’s that meets the eligible criteria. Develop and disseminate information and education to the target group of women and the general public.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to empower, encourage and support all women “Surviving the Storm” against breast and cervical through our strong beliefs in serving others. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs of the surrounding community.

Marketing Goals

During the next twelve month the foundation will complete five outreach or educational event within the local community. STS”s will distributed twenty poster, filers and brochures to local churches, business or other organization quarterly. Conduct one-on-one session with at least eight women during the time frame. STS’s will also develop a website that will include an online presentation and video content about the services offered at our center. Create Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram page. We will also use the e-mail market strategy to engage with the target audiences.

Target Population

Surviving the Strom Foundation Women Center target population are women from the age of eighteen to sixty four years of ages that is facing poverty, the fear of cancer, no health insurance; inability to pay the out of pocket expenses for screening and treatment. STS’s would also like to target the woman that has the possible barriers such as transportation, lack so family support and the access to care.
