Good morning everyone,

My assign number is 7 and here are my problems

a^2+6a+9/10 Here is the original problem

= a^2+2a*3+3^2/10 The factor of 9 is 3*3, then I factor the 6 into 2a*3 over 10 and keep the a^2. The polynomial is over 10.

Answer:

= (a+3)^2/10

The next problem is t^2+2t-10/t^2-6t+8

This polynomial is a prime polynomial. To factor ax^2+bx+c the numbers has to have a product of c and a sum of b. If no pair is found then the polynomial cannot be factored.
