The following questions are based on the article Positioning Cuts through Chaos in Marketplace by Jack Trout and Al Ries .

1. Provide a summary in your own words of the main arguments developed by the authors in the article. (minimum word count 750 words) (7 marks)


2. According to the authors what are the problems (traps) that should be avoided in a positioning strategy. (3 marks)


3. Using examples from the article clearly explain in your own words the questions that should be asked in order to apply correct positioning thinking. (5 marks)
