3 page distribution plan

Hey Team,

Below are my thoughts on how we should consider dividing up our team project due in 9 Days (Thursday, August 10th).

  • Items to be included in our final submission, as defined by the grading rubric (w/ proposed team deadlines):

  • Cover Page + Table of Contents - Due Wednesday 8/9

  • Executive Summary - Due Monday 8/7

  • SWOT Analysis - Due Saturday 8/5

  • Target Market - Due Saturday 8/5

  • Competition (4 P’s, etc.) - Due Saturday 8/5

  • Communication and Price (including promo) - Due Saturday 8/5

  • Distribution - Due Saturday 8/5

  • Conclusion - Due Monday 8/7

  • +

  • (Grammar and Formatting) - Due Wednesday 8/9

  • (Overall content, creativity, organization and formatting) - Due Wednesday 8/9

  • Team Review, Final Sign-Off, and Submission by Noon Thursday 8/10

  • **See rubric and “Team Project Design an OTC Drug Marketing Plan Overview” for details

  • There are 5 people on our team (David, Charles, Tori, Kraig, and myself). We can obviously divide this up however we want, but I’ve color coordinated the above “to-do’s” that correlate well in a marketing plan. I’m happy to take any of these, and not knowing each of your individual strengths, abilities, and life/work schedules I think it’s smart if we each select what fits us best. My only recommendation would be that our Purple team member be strong in editing, proofreading, reference sourcing, and APA format guidelines. Other than that I’m confident we’ll do great!

  • Another note, the Executive Summary and TOC cannot be efficiently completed until all other material is in, which you can see reflected in the self-imposed team deadlines by section above. This also gives our editor and team a remaining 2 days (Tuesday & Wed) time to look everything over, with Thursday serving as a buffer and check-off day.

  • How’s this look to everyone? Let’s aim to get each section assigned ASAP tomorrow (Wednesday) so we can each get started. Also, from now on let’s use text or our team discussion board to address any questions we might have for one another. For some reason email responses directly from Outlook Office 365 only send the response to the original sender, not the entire group.

  • Phone numbers of team members:

  • Kraig Harvey - (903) 284-1032

  • Charles Essel - (347) 573-4569

  • Me - (936) 332-7751

  • David - Unknown; please provide

  • Tori - Unknown; please provide

  • Catch Up Soon,

  • Caleb

  • p.s. We’ll also need to do individual team member evaluations for this project, however no due date or grade point values are assigned by the professor at this time. Just a heads up.
