3 pages analysis of interviews

Guidelines for the a marketing paper

  1. I will need you to analyze the 4 interviews by using the course materials in the links.

  2. CHECK THE RUBRIC FOR GUIDELINES!!!!!! (see attachment under rubric page)

  3. Remember you are reading the interviews, thinking about them and how they relate to the course tools, what those course tools make you think/consider/conclude, and WHY when it comes to marketers and consumers

  1. INTRODUCTORY PARAGRAPH

§ The first paragraph of a report or business writing should be a map for your reader.

§ Include:

1. Purpose (why you are writing the analysis, report, paper,

etc.)

2. What course tools (concept(s), theory(ies), model(s) you will use

3. The organization (what order will you use these tools)

§ USE RUBRIC

§ This HELPS the reader know WHAT they are about to read

THIS STEP IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!

5- Use the A+B=C in EACH AND EVERY paragraph

A= IS the Interviews

B= the course tool (which I will attach. THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!!)

C=your conclusion

This method must be in each paragraph you write if not YOU WILL HAVE TO RE-WRITE IT!!!

Example of the A+B=C

ONE EXAMPLE OF ANALYTICAL WRITING FOR A PARAGRAPH

Privacy Policy information MeWe’s privacy policy makes it clear that none of a user’s personal information is shared with third parties (Correct style of in text CITATION for MeWe’s privacy policy)

Using course material in the paragraph

Continuous Partial Attention indicates that users probably do not read the privacy policies for companies (Correct style of in text CITATION for Stone). In addition, Kahneman’s System 1 theory indicates that individuals think fast (Correct style of in text CITATION for Kahneman).

Educated Conclusions (YOUR conclusions)

If users do not pay attention to or read the privacy policy, then there is no chance of them seeing or reading whether their information is shared. Plus, in my experience users are often thinking quickly (System 1) when they download an application and therefore not paying close attention. Therefore, they are yadda, yadda, yadda...and at risk for blah, blah, blah. Or thus, it does not even matter what they share because...and so on.

THIS should be method should be in each paragraph if not you’ll have to re-write it!!!
