5 Yr Self Vision Statement

If you always put a limit on everything you do, physical or anything else; It will spread into your work and into your life, There are no limits, There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. This is a quote from Bruce Lee, which I've been thinking a lot lately while preparing to do this assignment because I've been thinking about ways to make my vision real. When I think about where I want to be in 5 years I picture me in a career in agri- business. when having a career on this field you should know that it involves taking care of farms and big chunks of land with productions of a specific resource. Also, finding innovative ways to reduce or to lower the expenses of the production and maximizing its revenues.

When picturing the environment where I'm going to be in five years I can only think of the field. When you have a career in this field you should know that 80% of the time you'll be working on the field, and only a 20% in the office. The time you spend at the office is just to make all the accounting and inventory checks of the materials you'll need to manage your lands. Also, most of the people I would be interacting with are field workers and biologist who examine the fields to see if all the production is going well. Last but not least, the materials which I would need to maximize the production and minimize the expenses is an auto fertilizer which is a machine that's powered by solar panels and know exactly when the production needs fertilizer, water, or any supply it needs.

For me, one of the key aspects you'll need to have a successful career is to find your career appealing. I personally think that what would make my future career appealing for me is, the fact that there is no such thing like to be in the open field. Since I was a little kid, I've been in the field with my dad bonding and working with him, and I feel that that is where I want to be in the future with my kid's; bonding and learning about life just as I did with my dad. Also, being in the open field breathing that pure air brings out all my inspiration and motivation to keep doing what I want in life.

Thinking about where I want to be in 5 years from now, can sometimes be scary and exciting at the same time. Since 5 years can go by so quickly I need to think if I'm on the right path to achieve my goals, or if there is something I should change, and if so what to do about it. I've always said that the best way to get to the place you want to be is to take step by step, or like some people like to call it "baby steps". Getting my professional degree is my first step to achieve my goals, and since that is what I'm doing, I'm very confident that I'm on the right track. When it comes to doing some change in my life, I think that it's still early to know, but what I do know is that if I keep having this discipline and inspiration, I'm really confident that I can overcome any potential road blocks on my path and address it the best way possible.
