Ch Sections of Time Management Book
WEEK FOUR DISCUSSION, TIME IN A BOTTLE
Actions for “Time in a Bottle” SECTIONS A to E
Although dated,B. Eugene Griessman Griessman's popular self-help book Time Tactics of Very Successful Peopledoes contain some timely advice which you could apply to your situation, and hopefully long after the course is over.
Finding time to do everything you need to do, while balancing work and family and personal life requires some training. Everyone who has entered the graduate program must grapple with this timely issue. Did they do it without reading this book? Probably no one's ever heard of it. Could they have done it any faster by following the advice Griessman offers?. Then what benefit would reading it provide you? None, unless you take time to do it. For books are like parachutes: they will only work when they are open. Studies have shown that success by the yard is hard, but by the inch it's a cinch! In other words, large tasks broken into smaller bits can be accomplished over time.
Record your impressions in this forum as you read Griessman's book in sections of chapters. Write 2-3 parpagrphs on relatable take-a-ways from each section of chapters.
