An abstract should high level summary of the key points that will be included in the project proposal, and it’s meant to persuade the reader to read the entire document. Most proposals address: the problem, the solution, and benefits.

Executive summaries are usually written for upper-level management who don’t have time to read the full report. The purpose is to convey the main ideas, recommendations, and conclusions of the full report with enough detail that the executive summary can stand by itself. The executive summary should cover all of the key sections of the full report, such as the problem, recommendations, costs, timeline, and recommendations.

The different is that while the main purpose of the abstract is to persuade the reader to read the following part of the document, executive is a summary of what the document which include the key points in the document and express the main ideas.

Abstracts have the benefit of arousing interest of the reader while executive summaries can show the main ideas of a long documents when the reader don't have the time to read the whole document or they don't need the detail information.

Multi-media presentations tends to contain more vivid information and it's capable to show some complicated idea in more simple ways like videos, audios or simulations. However, if it is used incorrectly, there would be too much information and the audience would be easily distracted by overwhelm information. On the other hand, PowerPoint slide shows can show the audience the main ideas and key points only and the audience can pay more attention to the presenters' speech. Overall, I think multi-media presentation is the better way for most of the presentations, it can impresses the audience by show audiences some information more vividly there's less stress on the presenter.6.

Subjects: Using text messages in the workplace

Using text messages in the workplace have a few strengths: comparing to e-mail, it can be very effective because it goes to phone directly and formatting is not playing a big role of in text messages. Also, it is very reliable because it doesn’t need internet connection. Comparing to phone call, it can express the main ideas in a few short sentences and receiver can check it later.

But it also has a few drawbacks: it tends to be informal so it is not the best on the work place. It’s hard to express complicated ideas in detail. Also, it can be intimidating to others private space. For example, when someone is not working, they can still receive text message from the workplace.
