Also, they went to places and towns to obtain information from direct sources for their writing. However not all libraries have complete information on the brothers Grimm. But nevertheless, it is preferable to use databases that tell you more about the life of the brother Grimms.

Although some anthropologist regard folklore as imagination. However, folklore has helped in the study of previously primitive societies and how they became civilized. And many modern societies collect, analyze, and publish information about folklore.

Grimm Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm “The Twelve Brothers” Household tales by Brothers Grimm, Jan .1906, pp. 23-26 EBSCOhost. The Grimm brothers talk about twelve brothers whose father was a king and did not want the thirteenth child to be a girl, or he would kill them. When their mother was pregnant, she directed them to leave into the forest and wait to come back when she delivered a baby boy; but never do comeback if they saw a red flag which would mean a girl. when their mother gave birth to a baby girl, they continued living in the forest until their sister joined them after hearing the whole story from their mother. The twelve brothers then turned into ravens, flew away, and the girl was married to a king before the twelve brothers came to rescue her during her death which an evil stepmother would orchestrate.

Steel, Flora Annie “Molly Whuppie and the Double -faced Giant” English fairy tales, Macmillan & Company, 1818, pp.132-36. EBSCOhost, Steel talks about a clever little girl called molly whuppie and a double -faced giant who was bothersome in the area, but the former tricked him wisely. Molly had her two elder sisters together with whom they had been sent out by their father to fend for themselves. When they had walked for a long time, they came to the giant’s house who wanted to kill them at night, but molly would trick him into killing his daughters. Molly and the three sisters got married to the sons of a king.
