#1
Choose 5 different origin points and 5 different destination points.
- Calculate the milage between each.
- Assume that the charge per mile is $4.65 (for destinations under 100 miles)
- Assume that the charge per mile is $3.45 (for destinations between 101 miles and 250 miles)
- Assume that the charge per mile is $3.25 (for destinations between 251 and 400 miles)
- Assume that the charge per mile is $3.05 ( for destinations over 401 miles)
Each load has 9 stops.
- Stops 1-4 are $75/stop. Stop 5-9 are $45/stop.
The minimum charge per load is $600 + stop charges.
There is also a 17% fuel surcharge on all loads. Do not charge fuel surcharge on the stop charges...
Calculate the charge to the customer for all 5 loads...
#2
Use the same distances as above and calculate the same loads using the following:
- Each load is 45,000 lbs.
- The charge is $.28/cwt on all loads
- The stop charges are the same as above
- The fuel surcharge is 17%
- Each truck is detained at the unload\ding destination for 5 hours.
- The charges for unloading delay is $75/hour after the first 2 hours free.
Calculate the charge to the customer for the above 5 loads.
