INITIAL POST
Find a recent water quality report, post the URL in your discussion post, and describe the design features that the document uses. Is it a well-designed document? Why/why not? In particular, look at the following:
- The use of white space. Does the report use a lot of white space? Does the report have a "busy," cluttered look, or a clean, focused look?
- The use of color and visual elements. Does the report effectively use photographs, graphics, watermarks, colored headings, etc. Does the use of color enhance or distract from the message?
- The presentation of information in a table. How easy is it to read the test results, typically presented in a table?
So that we get a wide variety of reports, choose a water quality report from a town in a state whose name starts with the same letter as your last name. (For example, my name is Hagemann, so I'm going to look for a water quality report from a town in Hawaii.)
