The current location of those artworks, as you will have noticed, is now in the West: the British Museum, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Smithsonian, among others.
Should these works be repatriated? Some of the works; all of the works? Do you consider them to have been "stolen"? Or "saved"? Why? Are we in the West morally responsible for the cultural harms resulting from colonialism?
