When moving to another country and culture in order to manage a subsidiary, it is important to remember that what works in one country may backfire in another.

Write a paper on the topic of cutting salaries or cutting jobs.

Address the following “Tools” in your paper:

•What are the benefits of across-the-board pay cuts?

•What are the benefits of reduction in force (mass layoffs)?

•How would you advise this Japanese expatriate working in the United States?

The requirements below must be met for your paper to be accepted and graded:

•Write between 850 – 1250 words (approximately 3 – 5 pages) using Microsoft Word in APA style, see example below.

•Use font size 12 and 1” margins.

•Include cover page and reference page.

•At least 80% of your paper must be original content/writing.
