The seven dimensions of ABA are unique in their own way. They all address various questions and possible solutions in their own way. I personally lean towards Generality. This dimension makes the most practical sense to me because I believe whena behavior change can be seen across the board it is then concertedunder control. If a behavior change is only occurring in the training environment than a change has not trulyoccurred. I have personally seen this dimension in process. In my line of work with adults with exceptional needs we work with behavioral issues every day. I have worked with a man on the spectrum, every time he would see a food he wanted he would take it- despite proper social protocol. We began to dissolve the behavior in public places such as restaurants, community centers, and grocery stores. Once we reached extinctionin those settings we began to work in his home with his house mates. Eventually this behavior was completely extinct across all environments.

I am having a little issue understanding Conceptually Systematic dimension. I have seen several behavior modification in which interventions are not consistent with principles demonstrated in literature and the research. I do not believe that behavior modification is a "one size fits all" practice. What works for one may not work for another. This dimension presents a lot of grey area for me and I look forward to understanding it further. I understand that the respect of psychology is based on researchbased practice but I believe that observation on a personal level can speak greater volumes, but you have to have research to back up what is being observed.
