 Read Case Study 5.1 in Chapter 5 of your text. Identify and discuss two to three dysfunctional behaviors that can result from intergenerational abuse. Keeping in mind the need to protect the welfare of the child and to understand the perpetrator’s own past abuse. Strategize an intervention to be used by the human service professional to address each identified dysfunctional behavior and break the cycle of abuse. Be prepared to support and defend your perspective from fellow students who may challenge your position. Respond to at least two of your classmates’ postings. When responding to your peers, please provide one resource in a local, regional, national agency, or organization that is in place to assist victims of child abuse.
