This April marks the 100th anniversary of the date the United States entered WWI ("The Great War"). Explain the fundamental reasons behind the United States entering World War I in Europe. Discuss whether or not you believe these reasons warranted going to war. Then explain how WWI changed the role of the United States in the world.
