First read the attach pdf on  Sculpture. And then  also viewed the approx. 12 minute video segments on Ursula von Rydingsvard, Judy Pfaff, and Tim Hawkinson.  These three artists each have a unique approach to making sculptural objects.  (Interesting note!  Ursula von Rydingsvard and Judy Pfaff are really good friends and have worked together in the past!)

For this Discussion, you'll be writing about the work of two of these artists and commenting on two of your teammates responses.

Answer the following questions (MINIMUM OF 600 WORDS)

1)  Which artist's work did you find most interesting?  Why?

2)  Which sculptural processes in the textbook apply to this artist's work?  Which sculptural art media did she/he use in their work?  (Two of these artists work in a really wide array of materials!  How many do you remember?)

3)  What is their work about (their main concept)?  How does their material (media) choice relate to their main concepts?

4)  Compare your answers to questions 2 - 3 with one of the other two artists.  Does this other artist use different media?  How does she/he fit into the ideas in question 3?
