16 Chapter 1 Digital Systems and Binary Numbers Table 1 .3 Signed Binary Numbers Signed-2's SIgned-'I 's Signed Declmal Complement Complement...
Hi there,
Hope your day didn't go boaring. My question is regarding table 1.3
I'm not understanding what is it made up of . I've studied binary numbers, boolean, circuits, registers counters and still i can't understand this table!
MY QUESTION : why are they saying " signed 2's complement" while they're presenting the number +7 in signed binary and NOT its complement? If we look down, we'll see that they obtained the complement of +7 in the row of -7 but how come?! Although the complement is done properly in binary but how come 1001 is -7 ?! isn't it -1 ?!
