One of the greatest advantages of linear programming is that it is a very a basic and simple way of finding data. Another advantage of linear programming is that it can help when evaluating processes and systems and re-evaluating to what the best process would be. The third advantage I found was that linear programming can help to make the best use of the resources available to the business. An example of this would be at the restaurant I work for, using linear program to ensure that we order the right amount of food and that the correct portions are used when preparing the food to make sure that we are making the most of the resources we have.
