            Using Psychoanalysis theory, please analyze one of the main characters: Mama (Lena), Walter, Ruth, Beneatha, or Asagai.  What is the psychological conflict that he or she is experiencing? What are/may be the causes of the conflict? What does his or her speech and actions reveal about how the conflict has affected him or her? Examine how your chosen character interacts with others. What do the interactions with the other characters reveal about your chosen character? What is the playwright, Lorraine Hansberry, arguing about through the character’s psychological conflict? The above questions are to guide and shape your response, so do not respond to the questions in the order they written. In your character analysis, you need to address these questions in an organized, unified, and coherent essay. In addition, you must identify in your argument the key points of Psychoanalysis theory that you are addressing (include information from the PowerPoint presentation).
