Slips of the tongue provide a valuable window into the processes involved in language production. They are also closely related to the action slips examined in Chapter 7 of your course text, Cognitive Psychology. For this discussion:

• Describe at least three categories of speech errors, giving an example of each.
• Discuss the explanations given for these types of speech errors.
• Give an example or two of such speech errors you have experienced in your life and explain why you think they happened.
