Please read the fifth chapter of Notter and Grant (2015): Fluid.

Then summarize your reading into six points:

• three of the points will be points of interest (with personal reflection)
• one point will be what you see as the strongest argument for explaining Fluid
• one point will be what you see as the weakest argument for explaining Fluid
• one point will be phrased as a question -- a question that isn't answered very well by the authors (and include why you think it isn't answered well)

AND don't forget:

• the New Yorker cartoon caption (see Message Board)
• to be prepared to discuss the various proposals for a class project

REMEMBER:

• make sure you include both a clear statement of the issue or question you like from the reading, and a personal reflection on why you chose that issue or question
