Keep in mind that sustainable development is economic development that does not deplete natural resources. Discussing challenges that face our world often means investigating opinions and ideas different from your own. Remember to remain thoughtful and respectful towards your peers and instructor in your initial and response discussion posts. Create one initial post and respond to at least two of your classmates. For your initial post, address the following: Select and describe an equity issue in your community (or a community that you know of) that relates to sustainable development. How does the environment affect and how is it affected by this equity issue? How do wealth and poverty affect this equity issue?
