Attendance at the natural history museum where you work has declined during the past several years. In an effort to increase attendance and make the displays more appealing to the public, the museum director has been asked to create a display showing the geologic history of the region. The director has assigned you to make the display. Your region may include either the Precambrian or the Paleozoic time period. Please note which time period your museum display represents.

What kinds of displays, computer animations, or interactive exhibits do you think would appeal to the general public? What events would you focus on, and how would you go about designing exhibits or displays to show the changing geologic panorama of the region during the Paleozoic or Precambrian and the impact these events might have on the region today?
