A categorical syllogism has premises and conclusions. We have to determine whether they are valid. I have came up with 2 potential syllogisms to prepare for the upcoming test. Here are the 2:
Premise 1: All mothers are kind
Premise 2: No kind people are sad
Conclusion: No sad people are mothers.
Premise 1: No Jesus-fearing person is immoral
Premise 2: No Jesus-fearing person is rich
Conclusion: No immoral person is rich.
For each of the syllogisms, we have to state whether they are valid and explain why.
