A study could be conducted by the same teacher over the course of a few years comparing students from different years, though it would be difficult to assess the role the teacher stance would play. It would also be interesting to perform an analysis of student perceptions. Many students in my study claimed to be putting forth more effort than at other parts of the school year. Perhaps their perceptions were askew, and if so, by how much?
