A. What are the literal meanings and current usage of each of the following English words?

I need help with section A numbers 13-23. I understand the current usage column, the part I need help with is the literal meaning part. We are supposed to break the given word into its greek or latin roots and give the literal meaning. It does not have to sound correct and often won't according to my professor.
