Activity #3: Submission

For this activity, read the attached information about the two projects that you will have due in this course. The outcomes for the course will be assessed in Units 3 and 6. You will be working on a course long project management plan for a project of your choosing. The management plan will be due with two deliverables as stated in the attached directions.

However, in order to ensure that you are on the right track with the projects, each week, there will be a milestone activity. If you have any questions about the project or are not clear about what is due in Weeks 3 and 6, the milestones are the time to check with your instructor. Note that in Unit 3 and in the student resources that there is a matrix for a Risk Register.

For the Unit 2 Milestone, submit a page to your instructor that outlines the project scope statement and some of the risks you believe will affect the project. You should be able to use this milestone to continue working on your project management deliverable for Unit 3 that will include the following:

a. Brief explanation of the project and the work environment

b.  Scope management plan

c.   Project scope statement

d.   Risk register (Wysocki (2014) calls this a Risk Driver Worksheet)

e.  Work Breakdown Structure (Explain the method used to create the WBS for this project in your paper)
