After considering Fine Motor Development, tell me at least 3 practices you would look for in a preschool setting, home child care or in a home that would tell you that preschool children are having opportunities to develop a variety of fine-motor skills.

Please describe general practices; things you should see happening everyday, rather than specific activities (example, if this were gross motor, we'd look for outdoor play with space for running, climbing, jumping.  We'd look for large group activities that involve dance, creative movement, stretching, balancing.  We'd look for materials such as balls and balance beams and tricycles.  We'd look for activities that require following directions using such as "simon says" that use all parts of the body.)
