After reading the attached story, write an essay in which you analyze, in separate paragraphs, how three of the elements of fiction (listed below) contribute to the development of the central idea or theme of the story. You may use your book and the literary analysis essay template (in this folder) as a guide. Begin your essay with a summary of the story and a thesis statement that organizes your essay and names the Central idea, or theme, of the story. Throughout your essay, use examples from the story to support your analysis of each of the elements you have selected. Write a conclusion to your essay. Your essay must be at least 600 words long.
